DESCRIPTION
The 'Brandt Walls' of Berlin. Façades that have no windows. Exterior walls that were never intended to be seen. New shapes created when the adjacent buildings were bombed away and the wound plastered over and healed. The outlines echo the ghost houses which were once part of the larger whole. Full with historic mourning and guilt... Germanic. Architectural tombstones. This image was taken at night and not altered in any way from how it came out of the camera.
