DESCRIPTION
Serbia, july 2017 - A German Catholic church in Serbia. Up until World War II there were more than 350.000 Germans in Serbia (mostly Swabians in the Vojvodina region). After the war however, most fled the country and the ones who stayed were put in prison camps. Today there are still about 4.000 Swabians left in the country, but a lot of their former churches remain abandoned.
