DESCRIPTION
Hong Kong is a vivid city, constantly on the move. People admire it's architecture and the well known skyline. But not many have seen that even the most modest buildings can inspire and provoke. This image is part of a project where I try to see patterns and symbols in ordinary buildings of the city. Image was taken in Quarry Bay, in one of the most photographed neighborhoods, as it has become popular after a movie was shot there. Professionals and amateurs alike, try to take the perfect shot of the buildings forming a Pi (Π). But not many have noticed that right a few steps down the road, the corners of the buildings are harmonically merged, forming a fast forward symbol (>>), probably an ideal representation of the city's fast pace.
