This photograph portraits the immigration phenomena in my country. The last years in Chile have been characterized by a great arrival of foreigners and a strong xenophobia by the local population. Among so many prejudices and a strong hate speech on both sides, this work aims to contribute not words but images to the debate.
Without a deep discussion on whether immigration is good or bad for the country, immigrant communities have been accused of being criminals; even when they are only looking for better opportunities while contributing to society with effort, work, humility, and diversity.
