This stunning waterfall is located in the highlands of Iceland, quite close to the city of Húsavik. The river is the longest of Iceland and in this point it has a drop of almost 20 meters into a raw and rough landscape of black basalt. This river flows into the Skjalfandi Bay, bringing a lot of nutrients for all the life that lives there, such as many species of Whales.
Author: I have developed an interest in Photography since the first time I held a camera, and taking pictures is one of the things that I like to do the most: I believe that photography can represent the meaning of a situation to what the artist wants to convey; it can function as the mean to awake a new kind of consciousness in the observer’s eye.
My enthusiasm for this discipline, both science and form of art, is matched only by my love for traveling and my lifelong passion for biology. My greatest desire is to feed my curiosity in order to understand more every day about our world.
