Honorable Mention
The Green Mile
DESCRIPTION
I stumbled on this picturesque driveway whilst on a road-trip through Scotland. I was driving down a country road, on the way to Drummond Castle. I recall glancing off to the right and being immediately taken by the colour. It was mid-afternoon and the green glow affected by the Golden Elm canopy was captivating. I pulled over, and ran back to take a few shots.I think the bucolic theme has a calming influence, while the green hues returns us to nature.
This image serves as a reminder to never be dissuaded from taking the photo.
AUTHOR
I am a Melbourne-born 28 year old who works professionally in the cancer diagnostics research / development industry. I'm an avid traveler and outdoors type, where I believe photography only adds to the enjoyment on my adventures. I have an eclectic background (ranging from music and sports to studying engineering) which is reflected through my photographic work. Whilst I am a sucked for a reflective and glowing sunrise / sunset, I also search to find beauty and expression in more mundane aspects of everyday life. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy the experience of capturing the moments.
