DESCRIPTION
Portrait from an ongoing project that explores an idea of a comfort zone through series of portraits in a domestic environment. Subjects are young creatives who came to London from around the world to exercise their potential. The project based around the implication that ‘comfort zone’ is a rather illusional concept. Aren’t we always leaving our comfort zone just to make ourself comfortable somewhere else again? Is there a final destination in that everlasting voyage? In other words, If we assume that in order to feel comfortable we have to fulfill our necessity to grow, and in order to grow we have to abandon our place of a comfort (physical, mental) – in that case, aren’t we all just chasing a phantom?
