Diving with sea lions is an unique experience that is worth the long trip La Paz (Baja California Sur). In about two hours os speedboat tou reach Espiritu Santu Island (also know as Los Islete) where they live permanently around 400 sea lions. The area is protected. As soon as you arrive you are welcomed by the show and by the cries of these splendid animals and as soon as you dive the underwaterworld you begin to feel the wonder that can give the interaction man-animal in total liberty. I started a project called the seventh continent where we try to interact with animals totally respecting them in their natural environment. In this picture a sea lion approaches a girl, mermaid dressed, and looks at the photographer. They really were very close one each other. I used fisheye lens and two strobes to get the black background and reflection.
