I have a long-standing passion for photography, watercolour painting and digital art. My favourite subjects are landscapes, nature and wildlife. I am privileged to live in an area of outstanding natural beauty, which I explore daily on my walks with my wife and our faithful westie. Our relaxed walks in various settings such as woodland, moorland, and parkland have been the source of much of my inspiration. I prefer to think of myself as an amateur artist rather than a professional photographer. I developed an appreciation for composition, light and colour while developing my pencil drawing and watercolour painting skills, which has influenced my approach to photography. Currently, I am focusing my energy on developing my photography and digital art. I am full-time University lecturer.
