Swimming in Ruin
DESCRIPTION
Every Estonian I talked to told me 2018 was the hottest summer they had ever experienced. So I eventually asked, "where does one go when it's hot?" "The Rummu quarry is a nice place for a cool dip," I was told. I made my way there to find a really unique swimming hole right next to an abandoned prison. It felt part soviet-era abandoned factory and part roman ruin with the graffiti and pillars. I set up my camera for a few long exposure shots with a 10 stop ND filter and was rewarded with this image. Don't you wanna just dive right in? AUTHOR
