How to blend in completely
DESCRIPTION
We usually talk about blending in regards to colours or substances being combined to create a new compound. But how do humans blend with the environments they’re in? As a visitor in a new culture, how do you make yourself fit in to then seamlessly explore? Can we blend into a foreign landscape by adapting its dress code? By adapting to some local code of conduct? Somewhat like wild animals, accustoming themselves with new territories. Trying to make them familiar bit by bit. We are learning how to tackle everyday tasks, as simple as buying groceries or crossing the streets. The series has been captured in Iran, where tourists are welcomed with so much enthusiasm, it’s really hard to melt in and go unnoticed.
