I am a portrait photographer based in Holland.
I try to encourage people to pose in different ways. Intimicy, mood and emotion play an important role. I like the interaction with my models and want to capture a beautiful moment or look. I get my inspiration often from the model, a story that is being told or an emotion during the shoot. Inspiration also comes from certain clothes or accessories. I like to use lighting that is inspired by the Dutch paintings from the 17th century because of the dramatic atmosphere and I try to give my photo’s a surrealistic painterly look. My goal is to create an image that is both beautiful and interesting and that can give a certain feeling to the viewer in a way that they want to keep looking at the photo.
