Half Dome After Sunset
DESCRIPTION
I was in Yosemite National Park for 3 days. While the views and the majesty of the landscape was always awesome, I felt like there was just something missing from my pictures. On my last day, I once again went up to glacier point in the evening to take in the views for one last time before I left the following morning. I drove up to glacier point and was greeted by clouds for the first time during my visit. I got my camera out and set up waiting for the perfect moment to capture an truly amazing shot. That moment came immediately after the sun set over the valley, lighting the clouds on fire. AUTHOR
I found photography at a time when my life completely revolved around school and work. Photography became an escape, where I found control again. I was able to combine it with my love of nature and traveling, and by watching photographers on YouTube, I was able to hone this craft. Although far from perfection, nothing is as joyful as setting up your camera and tripod and trying to capture a moment in time.
