Honorable Mention
Dance at Dusk
DESCRIPTION
I was up at dawn to catch the large blowhole along the coast of Kiama, eastern Australia. It sprayed seawater in short bursts, quite erratically. I waited patiently in the hope that if I stayed long enough, I might catch something special. I persevered. Then it happened. The wind blew up as the water sprayed, making it twist and turn, as if it was dancing.
For just one split second, it twisted softly, then fell.
AUTHOR
Photography was always a hobby of mine. I trained and worked as a designer in fashion for many years and later for sport for the brand, Puma., I always had a keen interest in our fashion shoots, and learning to edit.I picked up a camera more seriously when I semi retired in 2010 and have had more time to enjoy workshops and travelling to inspiring places. I currently do not sell my work but I am in demand for shooting everything from yacht races to events and portraits. I love the challenge of mastering the craft.
There are so many incredible places and subjects to shoot, but the challenge is always looking for a fresh image.
I love a challenge.
