Daily life in Truso valley
DESCRIPTION
Truso is a magical valley located along the Tergi river in the Georgian Kazbegi region. It is dotted with ancient towers and mineral lakes. There are also a couple of villages that are mostly abandoned in the aftermath of the Ossetian war. The tranqullity of the valley is tinged with a sense of loss. Everything is still and silent, there is nobody around apart from some soldiers controling the access to the South Ossetian border. Ketrisi is a tiny village in the middle of the valley. It is mostly in ruins, but one house is still inhabited by a family that lives there with its cows, sheep and hens. In this picture you can see the grandmother of the family washing some dishes, her little granddaughter and their hen. AUTHOR
