Chinese Bowl
DESCRIPTION
I like the interplay of textures and colors- the soft, translucent octopus against the hard, cold brass bowl. The blood vessels visible just under the surface of the skin and the intricacy of the coiled tentacles hint at the life that once pulsed them. AUTHOR
I am a graphic designer, an award-winning cookbook author and recipe developer with a particular fondness for photographing interesting food. Having started taking pictures in high school with my beloved Olympus OM1, I went on to study film at New York University with a subsequent career in advertising and design. I am now rediscovering my love of photography, looking for interesting light, color and texture wherever I go. My new beloved camera is a Sony a7ii mirrorless with a range of favorite prime lenses.
