Forest Bathing
DESCRIPTION
The concept of Shinrin-yoku, or forest therapy, developed in the 1980-ies has become a cornerstone of preventive health care and healing in Japanese medicine. This is not exercise, hiking or jogging. It is simply being in nature and connecting with it through our senses of sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch – immersing ourselves.
“And into the forest I go, to lose my mind and find my soul.” – John Muir
