Marta has worked in visual arts, theater, film and music production; graphic design and computer graphics; and as a registrar, archivist and research assistant. She has created art in a variety of media including: photography, printmaking, digital imagery, painting, mixed-media, mosaics and fine silver jewelry. Marta’s artworks are inspired and informed by physiological processes and transformations, nature, botany, science and anatomy. As an Art Educator, Marta has developed programs and taught art and jewelry making in museums, galleries, schools, community centers, festivals, hospitals, senior care homes, and non-profit organizations for youth and adults of all ages, skill levels and abilities. She has taught developmentally and physically disabled, chronically ill, fragile, at-risk, and homeless youth and adults. Marta graduated from the University of Southern California with a BFA Magna Cum Laude with several honors and awards. She lives and works in Los Angeles.
