This image was taken on the streets of George Town, Penang in Malaysia. A group of women on bikes were whizzing by and I loved the backdrop of the very rustic-looking white wall and mysterious man in the shadows. I stood by waiting to capture the stage in motion where each cyclist would correspond to a certain point of the background to create different components to the photo, to also visually encapsulate stages of progress. The result was just how I had hoped it to be, with the cyclist in front aligning with the grey section of the building, and the other lagging behind in the chase.
