DESCRIPTION
INSTANTES is a close up to different traditional occupations in Bogota city. It is an adrift research of antique spaces that are related to the people that made possible now our days these places endurance and permanence. Each of these spaces have the ability to conserve historic memory, as so as their intact initial look. This proyect highlights the importance of conservation and resistance to time of hidden, forgotten and non existing spaces of a society that is immerse in modernity and constant growth like Colombia's capital city; beneath and ephemeral light. (Bogotá, 1990) Visual Artist from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Bogotá, Colombia. Her photography is built on tradition and memory unifying truth and fantasy. She is the winner of the 2017 Roberto Villagráz Scholarship of the EFTI school, Madrid. Selected as tutor for the workshop 20 photographers Atitlán, Guatemala 2019. Selected for the Master class Historias probables at Veintinuevetrece phtography Festival, directed by Joan Fontcuberta and Cristina de Middel and winner of more workshops at international festivals such as Visa Pour L´image 2018 in France , Oak stories - Photon Festival in Valencia 2018, 20 photographers Bolivia and Native Agency Ecuador 2017. In 2014/15 she had her first solo show at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Bogotá and has participated in collective exhibitions in Colombia, Mexico, France, Germany and Spain. She is currently part of the Native Agency documentary team that distributes their work.
