Heidelberg Evenings
DESCRIPTION
If you are looking to shoot cityscapes in Germany, Heidelberg is one place you should head to. The rustic old town, somewhat still looking like one from the medieval times, is very attractive especially in the evenings. If you head to Heidelberg, one must make sure to capture the panoramic view of the old town from several of the vantage points that one can hike up to. I wanted to capture the old town with the castle and the river at sun down. The timing was quite critical but I managed to hike up to the vantage point in time to make sure that I could capture the setting sun as the city lights were coming up. A cloud patched sky only made the scene more delightful. AUTHOR
