Golden Budapest
DESCRIPTION
Budapest presents one of the most beautiful and panoramic skylines. One of the most photographed cityscapes, I have seen this scene mostly in the blue hours. And I am none the different, having also photographed this beautiful view in the evening hours earlier (8 years ago, on my first trip to Budapest). Now, I was tempted to say that I wanted to shoot something different and hence, I shot this in the (tad-past) golden hour. But it was not really that! Two factors made me go for this sun-kissed panorama - I was living too close to the vantage point and the Chain Bridge was under repair, and they would not light up the bridge at nights. But nevertheless, I persisted and made this panorama early in the morning with the rising sun. It was quite tricky to capture this, with the sun facing my lens. In the end it did work out for me... I managed to capture a new look of Budapest. AUTHOR
