Today, almost everyone has a camera and can, technically, take pretty good photos. However, what is important to me, is expressing myself through photography in a given place and time. Sometimes there is deeper meaning in my work, and sometimes it is mostly about form.
This photo comes from my mountain photography session in Dolomites. I become more and more convinced that mountain (landscape) photography requires above all … stopping and the equipment is not the most important thing.
Author: Radek von Hirschberg is the pseudonym under which this photographer and art promoter works. He is creative on many levels (…) and his passion for experiments combined with persistence allows him to cross borders also in photography. After more than 30 years, he has returned to this passion as a photography freelancer.
He was born and grew up in the Karkonosze Mountains, hence his passion for photographing mountains and landscapes. An enthusiast of natural light. In his work, he either tells stories of how he perceives reality or creates original narratives. He does not stop at capturing landscapes – people also often appear in his lens, which results in intriguing portraits. The camera is an indispensable element of his everyday life.
