It's been over two years since I started taking multiple photos. In this May, I took a course on Western art history at a university in Yokohama. I believe that photographs taken in overseas are influenced by the consciousness of Western art, and I wanted to incorporate that consciousness into my photographs. I feel that taking this course has started to influence my photography. In this August, my in-camera multiple photos were projected on a large screen in the background at a performance in the large hall. In this performance, 15 ballet dancers danced for 21 minutes to the music of Vivaldi's Four Seasons, and my 50 multiple photos were projected. The atmosphere created by the ballet dancers' performances, music, and super-enlarged photos created a ballet that was a comprehensive art form.
