Forgotten mothers
DESCRIPTION
In Bulgaria, I saw a woman, sitting in front of her house. Happy to talk to someone, she invited me inside for a cup of tea. She showed me tapestries she made in her youth. In the bedroom, an old doll decorated the bed and made her only company. A widow, she lives alone and feels forgotten. Her three children left the family’s nest years ago, choosing the big city.I asked why she doesn’t join them. She said, here are graves of her relatives and she doesn’t want to break away from her roots. How many lonely elderly people there are in the world?! Shut away, like an old dolls no one plays with anymore.. AUTHOR
I am coming from an artsy family of painters, sculptors and composers. I love to paint too, but last few years I prefer to use my photo camera as a brush and canvas!I love to be creative, to experiment, using different techniques or creating my own ones, without using a Photoshop.
I love photography and I am looking for a Beauty everywhere, even in the small, sometimes invisible for the others things!
I try to use photography to show the people the way in which I am seeing the world. Not just the visual of the scene in front me, but also my feelings and emotions.
