DESCRIPTION
The picture is of old advertising posters pasted on a construction wall in the west village. I took it with a Nikon D7500 and manipulated the elements within the photograph to express the ubiquitous availability of the universe in even the most ordinary and overlooked of places. AUTHOR
Sam Rittenberg lives and works in New York City. His primary interest is in the ability of a photograph to express the infinite and paradoxical interplay of destruction and creation. He is guided by the idea that every photograph, every work of art, has the potential to be a portal to that which is ordinarily beyond us.
