Marek Sutkowski, Ph. D.
Marek Sutkowski was born in 1972 in Warsaw. In 2003 he obtained the title of Ph.D. for his work on holography.
He is the author of numerous publications on photographic techniques, the history of photography, reviews and essays on photography in polish periodics.
Marek Sutkowski has been creatively involved in photography since the beginning of the 90's and has participated in many competitions and workshops, winning a number of medals, prizes and awards. To date, he has participated in a dozen collective and individual exhibitions.
In the artistic work author uses a multimedia approach, combining photographic images with text, sound and music, animation, graphics and drawing. The style is mainly on the border between abstraction and surrealism, often combined with the grotesque and irony.
