The Muralla Roja
Patrick Zélis, Belgium
The Muralla Roja
DESCRIPTION
The “Muralla Roja” is a postmodern apartment complex in Calpe, Spain. It is designed by Spanish architect Ricardo Bofill and fully constructed by 1973.This building is the perfect playground, an ideal mix of clean lines and geometry of urban landscapes. In this series, I find my interest in composition, the play of color and light. Focusing on details, I compose graphic images with a minimalist aesthetic. By transforming reality into forms, I thus create an abstract image. An approach that reflects my way of seeing the world and that allows to rediscover spaces under a different eye.
