Devotees At Gajan Festival
DESCRIPTION
More than 500 years old and a week-long festival continues till the end of Bengali New Year. The devotees assemble near the temple to perform some rituals and one of them is known as Argi puja where Hindu men and women are known as Sanyasis and Sannyasins offer worship to the Lord Shiva by lying on the ground around the Shivlinga.
