This picture was taken on a beach of the French north coast, while going to see a spring sunset over the sea. The low tide leaving a little water on a muddy beach, reflecting and contrasting a homogeneous sky.

On the way to a lighthouse, the beach below, various bands with bluish shades form between sky, sea and land. Everything blends together to form a linear and uniform maritime landscape, alternating between blues and whites. The layers follow one another and are transposed in a game of contrast, offering a subtly graphic view.
