This picture was taken during a hike in the Vanoise National Park, near the Pointe de la Masse, at 2800 meters high. After 1000 meters of elevation gain in the morning, I stopped there, facing this landscape, for a moment to eat while enjoying this particular view.

And what a view, on one side above the clouds, on the other in the middle of the mountains, like a meeting between sky and land. A horizon so soothing by the delicacy of the clouds and the softness of the light green curves of the ground, and so striking by the strength of this mountain and the hardness of the clouds seeming to erode this land. In this contrast is revealed this sensitive harmony of a portrait of the mountain as celestial lands.

Soothed after a long time here, I tried to capture my feelings of this sight. Then, I would take the path again by the ridges and go down again to see the lakes...
