DESCRIPTION
"Nähe" - (German for closeness) is a photo series that explores the importance of psychological and physical closeness to others. Whether in a friendly, romantic or family relationship - closeness is essential for survival. Since the human skin is the most important organ when it comes to touch, it was given special focus. I photographed six couples, varying in the form of the relationship. Then the Corona pandemic interrupted my photo series and the images took on more meaning than ever for me. AUTHOR
Hi, I'm Philly, 28 years old and kind of addicted to analog photography since my uncle gave me his old Minolta SrT Super. I studied communication design and chose color photography to showcase my bachelor's subject. My newest family member is the Canon Prima Sol, which I almost always carry with me to photograph everyday scenes or time with my family and friends.
