Fisher Women
DESCRIPTION
A group of fisherwomen fishing near a river bank in the rural areas of West Bengal. They use big rounded fishnets and do fishing in significantly less water rivers. Whatever fish they get, sell them as a single unit and divide the total wages equally so that no one returns empty-handed. The women are totally dependent upon this as the wages help them to serve their individual family members. AUTHOR
