The picture was taken on a documentary trip to the Ivory Coast, we have visited together with employees of an organization (kettenmenschen.de) a self-proclaimed healer and prophet in his prayer center near Bouaké. There we experienced indescribable things, people who spend their lives chained to trees and locked away because they have psychological problems. They are healed there only with prayers without medical support. The picture with the curious children's eyes was taken outside the prayer center during a debriefing in a hut, it immediately showed me the potential of the situation and captured that children are simply curious, no matter where in this world.
