Infertility, 2021-2022: Embryo Transfer November 30th, 2021
DESCRIPTION
One in four pregnancies ends in miscarriage, however most women don't talk about their losses, making the experience of one particularly isolating and harrowing. From 2021-2022 I attempted to have a second child through IVF. This photography documents my second embryo of three embryo transfers, all of which were unsuccessful. The photography incorporates an ultrasound image from my fertility journey, as well as a talisman I made in hopes of having a healthy pregnancy. This transfer would result in a miscarriage four weeks later. AUTHOR
