DESCRIPTION
The Plains of Castelluccio is located in Central Italy at about 1,350 m above sea level. It is an old volcano collapsed a few centuries ago. It is well known as one of the best Flowering which, starting in May and continuing into June and July, colours the whole area with poppies, cornflowers, daisies and lentils (the lentil is one of the most appreciated gastronomic excellences in the area). I am an amateur photographer based in Pavia (Italy). I approached photography in the mid80s with analogic process. After a long pause because of family and work engagements, I resumed my passion at the time of digital photography. Following my retirement, that is now the most important activity, still as an amateur. I prefer urban contests as well as the relation between people and the urban environment as the main subjects.
