DESCRIPTION
The Plains of Castelluccio is located in Central Italy at about 1,350 m above sea level. It is an old volcano collapsed a few centuries ago. It is well known as one of the best Flowering which, starting in May and continuing into June and July, colours the whole area with poppies, cornflowers, daisies and lentils (the lentil is one of the most appreciated gastronomic excellences in the area).
