DESCRIPTION
This is a head-on shot of a Green Thorntail Hummingbird on a thin natural perch. These are tiny birds that are no bigger than the palm of a persons hand however these birds are blessed with such vivid iridescent plumage feathers. Here the chest feathers on this bird reminded me of colorful sweater nature has bestowed on this beautiful bird and hence the title. It is amazing to note in nature that even the tinniest of creatures are blessed with such amazing colors and hence I felt this image was my choice for the chromatic awards.
