Mantis Religiosa
DESCRIPTION
This mantis religiosa was sitting in a blooming heather bush early in the morning. She is one of the few praying mantises that occur in the free state of Saxony (Germany) in the wild. Every year in august I come here to capture the beautiful colors of the heather blossom in my pictures and to show the variety of insects.
