Walnut stump
DESCRIPTION
I often take photos inspired by the graphics created by the plant world, but this time I was drawn to the dead plant world. The cracks and fissures on the surface of this walnut stump create a beautiful abstract whole, where the aesthetic is reinforced by the areas of color that still exist on the cut wood. Even when dead and cut, wood still retains a real aesthetic quality. AUTHOR
