Contrast was the key to capturing these celebratory balloons. Rather than capture the entire bunch, I chose to zone in on a few balloons. I saw this image and shot it immediately. It spoke to me of the simple beauty of everyday things. I didn't overthink it - I just snapped the photo. AUTHOR
