It's All Hot Air
DESCRIPTION
A lighter-than-air aircraft, a hot air balloon is composed of an envelope (“balloon”), burner system, and a basket or gondola. Then envelope, constructed with rip-stop, fire resistant nylon, contains heated air. The heated air makes the balloon buoyant. During the inflation process, the burner injects flame into the envelope, heating the air within. To highlight the vibrancy and texture of the hot air balloon, I highlighted puckered material of the lower panels as the balloon was being inflated. AUTHOR
I'm a passionate amateur photographer with a wide range of interests: travel, reading, art, architecture, design, music and food. Most of the time, I'm exploring my "new" home of Los Angeles. I enjoy documenting street art and the ever-changing scenes of urban life. When time permits, I travel seeking out landscapes that inspire my imagination. I'm endlessly curious! From vast expanses to close-up details, I love to capture the beauty and wonder of this world.
