Honorable Mention
„Le Jardin de Monsieur Monet”
DESCRIPTION
The reflection of the charming manor house "Gut Böckel" in the north-east of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is impossible not to pay attention to this remarkable property, because the inhabited moated castle impresses not only horizontally, but also vertically with its ocher facade, the distinctive red roof and the pond with its beautiful water lilies, which have always been a popular subject in the fine arts and make this photograph look almost like an impressionist painting.
AUTHOR
Intensive engagement with digital and analogue photography, Lightroom and Photoshop since 2020. To me photography is a form of meditation and mindfulness. I literally see the world through a different lens. I perceive details more consciously and allow moments to linger longer. I generally look at photos for a very long time. It is a pleasure to discover shapes, tonalities, contrasts, and, of course, the story behind the picture. I only recently discovered photography extensively for myself and I already knew that it belongs to me and will always be part of my life journey because, quite simply, I suddenly perceive the world on a completely different level.
