Honorable Mention
„Le Jardin de Monsieur Monet”
DESCRIPTION
The reflection of the charming manor house "Gut Böckel" in the north-east of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is impossible not to pay attention to this remarkable property, because the inhabited moated castle impresses not only horizontally, but also vertically with its ocher facade, the distinctive red roof and the pond with its beautiful water lilies, which have always been a popular subject in the fine arts and make this photograph look almost like an impressionist painting.
AUTHOR
To me, photography is a form of meditation and mindfulness. I view the world through a different lens, consciously noticing details and allowing moments to linger longer. I often spend a considerable amount of time contemplating photographs, relishing the opportunity to discover shapes, tonalities, contrasts, and, of course, the stories behind each image. I only recently delved deeply into photography, but I already know it is a passion that will always be a part of my life’s journey. It has opened my eyes to a completely new way of experiencing the world.Intensive engagement with digital and analogue photography, Lightroom and Photoshop since 2020.
