Trona Series, Jones Street
DESCRIPTION
Located in the Mojave Desert in California, the once thriving mining town of Trona is now mostly abandoned and as some say, on the way to becoming a ghost town. This is a view down Jones Street in the center of town between the still operating borax factory and the dried basin of Searles Lake. The hot dry weather of the desert gives the area a faded washed out beauty. AUTHOR
