Western Wall, Jerusalem
DESCRIPTION
The Western Wall in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem is a religious site of Judaism. I was fascinated by the uniform and the beautiful clothing, especially the special headdresses. A friend and I stood there and watched the prayers, which was very interesting. Of course, we were very conspicuous with our bright and colorful clothes, but we wanted to show respect and not disturb anyone. AUTHOR
My name is Jannis Schubert and I was born in Bamberg in 1991. After my high school graduation in 2013 I had mini-jobs for a while, in 2014 I had several internships in Berlin. In 2015 I started studying renewable energy in Coburg, but dropped out after one year. From 2016 to 2017 I worked at the Werkbund Werkstatt in nuremberg. Afterwards I studied product design from 2017 until 2021. The study also included graphic design and photography. After graduation, I started my own business in graphic and web design. On some jobs I had to work with the camera again and again and there i noticed, that I would like to work more and more with photography, because I this makes me the most fun and I can be very enthusiastic about it.
