DESCRIPTION
Kamieńsk Hill (Poland) was artificially raised by people from the overburden (sands, silts, clays) left after the extraction of lignite from the Bełchatów coal mine. It is the highest hill in central Poland and the Bełchatów coal mine itself is the largest "hole" in Europe, which can be seen even from space.
We could say that the picture you see looks a bit like it was taken on another planet.
