DESCRIPTION
Photography taken in the Vatnajokull area (Iceland), The Vatnajökull glacier is a huge ice field that occupies practically 10% of the map of Iceland. It extends over 8,000 square kilometers in which the ice can reach up to a kilometer thick.Inside the caves your senses are flooded surrounded by those blues colors and those incredible shapes and textures. In addition, you can see air bubbles, stones, branches and other objects crystallized deep in the walls... perhaps these objects have been there for thousands of years... something that if you stop to think about it is quite incredible...
Unfortunately, Vatnajökull shrinks by several meters year after year due to rising temperatures in Iceland. One more example that it is very important that we care about taking care of the environment.

Me llamo Miguel Garabal y me dedico a la fotografía con la motivación de satisfacer mi inquietud creativa y como método de expresión para mostrar una perspectiva de la realidad que vivo e incluso para mostrar otra realidad, la que imagino, la que implícitamente se moldea desde la abstracción para terminar plasmada en una fotografía y que pretende comunicar a otras personas mis puntos de vista, mis ideas, mis sentimientos, mis emociones,inmortalizar instantes de suma importancia para mí o simplemente retratar lo que puede estar sucediendo en cualquier momento... Me gusta intentar desarrollar mi propio lenguaje visual más allá de estereotipos,corrientes o modas mezclando la improvisación creativa tanto como la planificación de ideas... así es como día a día voy intentando perfeccionar mis trabajos.
