Dragonfly
DESCRIPTION
African Water Lily & Dragonfly: I captured this image in the Okavango Delta region of Botswana late one morning in May, 2023. I was just finishing a game drive and on my way back to camp when we drove over a wooden bridge spanning one of the delta’s channels. The water lilies and their reflections struck me as particularly beautiful, so I stopped the truck to capture a few. I didn’t realize until I returned to camp and looked at this image on my computer that I was lucky enough to also capture the dragonfly.
