Springtime eartips between rocks
DESCRIPTION
Hiding high up in the scree slopes, I came across this dishevelled female arctic fox in the middle of her coat change, who was skilfully scurrying about, marking her territory against rivals. Curiously, she eyed me while I was lying on the ground between stones with my camera before she continued the patrol of her territory. AUTHOR
Since my childhood I have been fascinated by wildlife and the different habitats. As a child, I lived with my parents right on the edge of the forest, which is why I was often out in the woods with them and developed a deep affection for nature. When I became a teenager, I developed a great fascination for the north of Europe and the Arctic, where I can often be found today, trying to raise awareness about the need to protect the incomparable beauty of this untamed arctic region. My greatest passion about wildlife photography is to capture the encounter between me and wild animals as familiar as possible to give the viewer an intimate and magical moment into the unique life of this mystical beings.
