I captured this image at sunset one afternoon in Amboseli National Park, Kenya. It was in November, 2021 at the end of the dry season and a small group of wildebeest were walking across the sun-baked playa of Lake Amboseli. The dust in the air made for a spectacular sunset and the wildebeest hooves were kicking-up just enough dust for the light to capture it underneath their bodies.

Amboseli National Park in Kenya is near the border with Tanzania and sits close to the foothills of Mount Kilmanjaro. On a clear day you can easily see Mount Kilimanjaro dominating the background. Amboseli is one of my favorite places to photograph as it also has the highest density of elephants in all of Africa.
