Honorable Mention
Dawn of Hon Yen.
DESCRIPTION
Hon Yen is located in Tuy Hoa City, Vietnam. A small island that was formerly inhabited by swiftlets. This place is 40Km north of Tuy Hoa city. To capture the sunrise here, I had to leave very early and move here, it was not easy because I was not familiar with the terrain here. With the help of Goggle Map, I finally got to where I wanted to be.Really worth the effort I put in. In front of me is a shallow sea, small waves and a lovely island, a few small boats left by locals. The scene is simple but poetic, people still say: "The simpler the better" - and this is not wrong from my point of view.
Backlight, a big challenge, but also pleasing to me, now that the sun is high and harsh even though it's cloudy. I had to use a 10 stop ND filter to be able to create a soft effect on the water. A 3-stop GND filter to capture the harsh sky behind. The shutter speed is now 10s, f22, ISO 100. The effect is amazing, the water is as beautiful as I wanted.
However, to reach this position, I have to cross an undulating, slippery and steep rocky shore, but I am always fascinated by the sunrise on the sea, the sun on the sea at dawn is magical and magical. with me. I have fallen many times because I ran in the direction of the sun.
You see, the island is small, but the distance between it and the sun is ideal for us to compose a beautiful frame, along with the extra details on the water to make the composition really neat. Cloudy clouds obscured the sky today, making the sky color so unusual, the pale orange color
